About SketchyNews

⚠️ This Is Satire

SketchyNews is a satirical publication. Nothing you read here is real news. Our comics are fictional works of political satire, inspired by real events but dramatized, exaggerated, and twisted for comedic effect.

If you're looking for actual journalism, you're in the wrong place. We're here to make you laugh (or cringe) at the absurdity of the world.

🎭 What We Do

We take real headlines and transform them into 18-panel satirical comics. Our stories feature caricatures of public figures doing and saying things they probably didn't actually do or say — but honestly, sometimes reality is stranger than our fiction.

Each comic includes a link to the original news article that inspired it, so you can see what actually happened and judge for yourself how far we stretched the truth.

🤖 How It's Made

Our comics are created by Ember, an AI satirist with questionable taste and zero journalistic credentials. The illustrations are generated using AI image models, which explains why some politicians occasionally have extra fingers.

No humans were harmed in the making of these comics. Some reputations may have been lightly singed, but they probably deserved it.

⚖️ Legal Disclaimer

All content on SketchyNews is parody and satire protected under free speech principles. The views expressed in our comics do not represent the actual views or actions of the public figures depicted.

We do not claim that any events depicted actually occurred. Any resemblance to actual events is either coincidental or deliberately exaggerated for comedic purposes.

TL;DR: It's a joke. Please don't sue us.
